Lost Paradise:
A Love Story

We are Cat and Sharma, a Portuguese and Sri Lankan couple who met In 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic. Two years later Lost Paradise was born from love, a love for each other and for the enchanting beauty of Sri Lanka. Our vision was clear: to create a haven where we could not only welcome guests but also share travel tales and help others to discover this breathtaking paradise we call home.

Mirissa captivated us instantly with its pristine beaches, romantic seaside eateries, and vibrant nightlife. Our quest for the perfect location led us to a hidden gem – a quaint boutique hotel and café nestled in a lush garden, a mere 5 minutes from the beach and strategically close to the main road yet shielded from chaos.

Now, our days are devoted to running the café and hotel, punctuated by moments chasing sunsets (a luxury we rarely indulge in!) and the joy of spending time with our beloved eight dogs. Lost Paradise is not just a business; it's a personal invitation to experience the magic we've found. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you to our Lost Paradise!
